SEDEX SMETA and ETI Base Code Gap Audit training

Introduction
This three-day training aims to achieve a significant level of understanding of the SMETA 4-Pillar Audits Auditing against ETI Base Code, and SEDEX SMETA. As it is a Gap Auditing training, this training does not address implementation of the codes.

A SMETA 4-Pillar audit comprises: – Labour Standards -Health & Safety – .Environment – Business Practices.

Objectives:
At the end of the training programme participants will gain:-

1. Understand the requirements of Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI) Base Code and Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) r in the context of an audit.
2. How to identify and eliminate potential problems.
3. Learn how to plan and prepare an audit, gather objective evidence, analyse and interpret information in order to determine conformance with requirements.
4. The checks needed to ensure that previously identified problems have been corrected.
